WaNa release three films internationally through Film Annex
WaNa, a film production company created by Natalie Mooallem and Peter Wade Keusch, have just licensed three films for global release through internet art film distributer Film Annex.
The films include “Clear Water” and the first two installments of “The Lonely Dinosaur” series of shorts.
Clear Water
Stumbling through a fog of nightmares and restless insomnia, “Clear Water” unravels a man’s decline as he clings to a romance that’s quickly slipping away. Starring Marc Forget and Sandriel Frank, with sound designed by Grammy Award winning Peter Wade Keusch, “Clear Water” appeared as part of a multimedia installation by NYC-based artist and filmmaker, Natalie Mooallem, and represents one of the first collaborations of WaNa.
The Lonely Dinosaur I
The introductory installment of the WaNa series, “The Lonely Dinosaur.” Created by Peter Wade Keusch and Natalie Mooallem, these nostalgic short films examine the real world existential crisis of a lonesome dinosaur who, despite his inborn predatory nature, just wants a friend.
The Lonely Dinosaur II: Lonely Winter
The second episode of the WaNa series, “The Lonely Dinosaur,” created by Peter Wade Keusch and Natalie Mooallem. Our hero awakens from his solitary slumber to find himself in a cold, friendless modern world. A flicker of life sends him on a carnivorous hunt, throwing The Lonely Dinosaur into an ambivalent trap as he’s torn between his primal instincts and his need for a friend. Or was it all a dream?
